Classic upholstery designs done right are difficult to find in a marketplace flooded with inexpensive imports. We shopped the world’s markets for quality upholstered pieces and came back to Dallas empty handed season after season. So in 2005, John Orr put together a team of designers and upholsterers to build our own line of traditional and transitional custom upholstery.
The classic Pettigrew button-tufted sofa with its graceful curve has been produced in more than a dozen custom sizes to fit the room and designers’ needs. Our frames are cut from solid poplar and constructed with no-sag springs. They are eight-way hand-tied and built with spring down cushioning for long life and luxurious comfort. Each piece is built to your specifications with attention to every detail. Our upholsterers take special care to calculate the repeat and match the seams and pattern to conserve fabric.
