All claims for damage sustained by goods in transit whether shipped from Pettigrew Associates, Inc. or any other source represented by Pettigrew Associates, Inc. must be filed with the freight carrier within seven (7) days of receipt of goods.
Pettigrew Associates, Inc. will accept no return of any kind without previous written authorization.
Any and all additions, deletions, or other changes to any Pettigrew Associates, Inc. order must be stated in writing and acknowledged by Pettigrew Associates, Inc. to assure that said alterations are effected.
Pettigrew Associates, Inc. assumes no responsibility for merchandise picked up from same by client or individual acting as an agent for client. All merchandise is inspected for quality commensurate to that sampled and for physical condition before leaving our premises.
All business transactions and communication shall be between Pettigrew Associates, Inc. and the party identified in “Sold to” section of the Pettigrew Associates, Inc. order form, regardless of the party actually submitting payment for goods.
Pettigrew Associates, Inc. will select the common carrier for all shipments unless otherwise specified on the Pettigrew Associates, Inc. order form by the purchaser; however Pettigrew Associates, Inc. reserves the right to ship by the best possible alternative carrier when the carrier specified is not a feasible choice.
Backorders and special orders are not cancelable and deposits are not refundable. Estimates of delivery time are non-binding estimates. While every reasonable effort will be made by Pettigrew Associates, Inc. to assure that your backorder or special order is delivered within the specified time estimates, Pettigrew Associates, Inc. will not be responsible for delays caused by acts of God, acts of War, labor disputes, work stoppages, foreign laws, shipping schedules, customs disputes, or any other circumstances beyond the control of Pettigrew Associates, Inc.
A qualified chandelier installer or experienced electrician should always install chandeliers or decorative lighting fixtures, adhering to local standards and safety codes. The installer may be a qualified electrician or an installer working with an electrician. All electricians, however, are not familiar with or necessarily qualified to properly install chandeliers and other decorative lighting fixtures.
All fixtures over forty pounds must be hung professionally and independently suspended from the ceiling, not from the electrical box. Consult a qualified structural engineer or architect to determine the correct hanging procedure.
It is the responsibility of the installer to test the chain, hardware, and ceiling mounting, before attaching the fixture. Pettigrew Associates, Inc. makes no warranty or guarantee as to the strength or suitability of any chain, chain connectors, and/or installation hardware supplied with a fixture.
Although thorough inspection is given to the wallcoverings and the fabrics, the responsibility for final inspection and approval of the material before installation is that of the customer and installer. Pettigrew Associates, Inc. is not responsible for labor costs in the installation of incorrect or imperfect material.
Wallcoverings are returnable within 30 days only. All returns are subject to a restocking charge in addition to shipping charges. Fabrics are not returnable. Borders are not returnable.
Any Pettigrew Associates, Inc. order and agreement to pay entered into and all charges payable in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas.
All charges are past due thirty (30) days from date of invoice; past due charges incur interest at the maximum rate allowed by law, but not to exceed one and one-half percent (1½%) per month.
