At Pettigrew we have brought together a team of craftsmen and artists who can make the designer’s idea take shape in carved wood, fine upholstery, Old World marquetry or gold gilt. The cabinet maker, the finish artist, the master wood carver, the gilder, and the seamstress join the metal smith, the upholsterers and painters to create one-of-a-kind pieces to your specifications.
Increase the table top diameter from 60 inches to 72 inches, our cabinet maker can do it. Add two inches of width and depth to the seat of a classic Louis XIV style chair, our master wood carver will take it on. Build a half dozen matching custom carved vitrines in red lacquer for a dress shop display? We have done it. Gild a bombé chest in silver leaf...beautiful!
